Gone Gone

Today I worked, I have class in about 20 min. But I thought I would comment on my day. I had to be at work at 8:45 this morning and while that doesnt seem early, I had to get myself ready then get my baby up and ready and when you wake her up in the morning she becomes attatched to you and doesnt want to let you go, so its hard to do ANYTHING after she is awake. Then I had to drive the 20 miles to my mother in laws so she could watch Elise before driving another 16 to work. So I had to be up pretty early. (If I were willing to let people see me without make up all day I could have slept an extra 10 min but that wasnt worth it) So early this morning when I was having to haul Elise around the house on my hip because she had a death grip on me I went into my room to get something. She relaxed one side of the death grip and pointed at the bed and said "mommy, ders da bed, get in it" Like " mother why the heck are we up so early there is a perfectly good bed right there lets do that instead" lol Very tempting offer let me tell you. Then on the way to my in laws house I heard a commentary from the back seat of EVERTHING we passed. " mommy, a house, gone gone house, mommy cows! MOO! gone gone cows," She saw some goats and didnt know what they were she thought they were dogs at first and I had to tell her no those are goats then she started talking about them, then a horse. Then everything was "gone gone" It is so interesting to see the world through her eyes. Half the time the things that Elise sees I have to look hard to find them. She is SOOOO observent. She doesnt miss a THING. Anyways I ment to talk more about other things in my day that arent revolving around a toddler but I suspect that a toddler story is more entertaining. I think only Danielle, Aunt Kathy, Aunt Nancy and my mother read this thing anyway. Gotta go to class now

  1. Sure enjoyed your story, Nancy. I remember those days with my little ones clinging to me. I miss them... the babies! Life gets pretty hectic but you seem to be handling it all quite well. I am proud of you!
