Happy Thanxgiving
Today we went to Josh's cousins house for lunch and she has some horses there. His other cousin took Elise out and put her on one of the horses. She was freaked out but then when we tried to take her off she was soooo mad and kept crying and wanting to "wide da horsey!" She is now crying "moooommy moooommy!" cause her daddy is trying to get her to eat. She is such a tortured baby that her parents try to feed her on a regular basis. Horribly tortured child. Anyways Everyone have a happy thanxgiving!!!!

silly kid
So the other day I was giving Elise a bath, and she is facinated with belly buttons. I was in the tub with her and she was pointing to my belly button and said " is mommys!" then at her own and said " is Ewises" then she whispered " mommy, is scared" while pointed to her belly button, she then squished it between her fingers to make it disappear. She then said " Der! Is hidin!" lol I thought it was hilarious. So I laughed and laughed and then she started laughing with me because I guess she decided that was the popular thing to do.
Josh told me a story about Elise, yesterday, she had a diaper issue, lets just say it was "overcrowded" and caused some to escape down her leg, she ran to her daddy and said in an upset voice " daddy! daddy! is scawy!' To which as he told me the story he said " and you have no idea how right she was! It was VERY scary, its a good thing I love her so much otherwise I wouldnt be able to do it" I was lucky enough to be in the shower during this situation. lol

Gone Gone
Today I worked, I have class in about 20 min. But I thought I would comment on my day. I had to be at work at 8:45 this morning and while that doesnt seem early, I had to get myself ready then get my baby up and ready and when you wake her up in the morning she becomes attatched to you and doesnt want to let you go, so its hard to do ANYTHING after she is awake. Then I had to drive the 20 miles to my mother in laws so she could watch Elise before driving another 16 to work. So I had to be up pretty early. (If I were willing to let people see me without make up all day I could have slept an extra 10 min but that wasnt worth it) So early this morning when I was having to haul Elise around the house on my hip because she had a death grip on me I went into my room to get something. She relaxed one side of the death grip and pointed at the bed and said "mommy, ders da bed, get in it" Like " mother why the heck are we up so early there is a perfectly good bed right there lets do that instead" lol Very tempting offer let me tell you. Then on the way to my in laws house I heard a commentary from the back seat of EVERTHING we passed. " mommy, a house, gone gone house, mommy cows! MOO! gone gone cows," She saw some goats and didnt know what they were she thought they were dogs at first and I had to tell her no those are goats then she started talking about them, then a horse. Then everything was "gone gone" It is so interesting to see the world through her eyes. Half the time the things that Elise sees I have to look hard to find them. She is SOOOO observent. She doesnt miss a THING. Anyways I ment to talk more about other things in my day that arent revolving around a toddler but I suspect that a toddler story is more entertaining. I think only Danielle, Aunt Kathy, Aunt Nancy and my mother read this thing anyway. Gotta go to class now

Taking after Uncle Nathan
I think Elise takes after her uncle Nathan. If you didnt know Nathans favorite food on the face of the planet is anything Asian. He is always cooking asian food. Elise's favorite food is "miiilk!" She doesnt want to eat. Of course she likes the usual cookies and she likes "baples" ( apples) and eggs for breakfast, but as in just eating a meal to be eating NO! Yesterday Josh and I decided we wanted to eat Chineese. That kid ate half my plate before I could. She ate all her green beans and kept telling me how good they were and all the rice off my plate and off of Josh's. So now I know if I want her to eat to feed her chineese food! I feel I have made a parenting break through. As I think about this breakthrough though I realize that while I was pregnant with her that I craved Chineese food all the time so maybe this shouldnt suprise me so much. Also weird though because I hated Asian food as a kid. Well I have homework to do so gotta leave it at that.

The story behind Adventures with Cows
The reason I've named my blog adventures with cows is sort of a long story but mildly entertaining. So I figured I would share it. You may or maynot know that I have worked at Best buy for what seems like forever. A few years ago it snowed. This is not a very common problem that we have in Mississippi. In fact it is miraculous that it has happened once a year the past like 3 years. SO up until the last year or so my inlaws had cows that were ajacent to where I live. When it snowed my husband told them not to bother coming up to feed the cows ( since they couldnt eat the grass under the snow) So we tried to feed them. Problem is we went out to do this is a 2005 Ford Focus. This is not a car made for farm work. We got stuck and I had to call into work because I got stuck in the snow trying to feed the cows. My boss Randy wasnt even mad at me because he thought my excuse was the funniest thing ever. Infact he still thinks this and teases me about it. He told me when he heard I was blogging to name it Adventures with Cows. SO in a moment of being braindead on what else to call it, I decided why not? Even though he isnt even my boss anymore I am still doing what he says. lol Old habits die hard. Anyways so when I finally came into work several hours late EVERYONE "mooed" at me all day. It was a wonderful experiance and one I have yet to live down obviously. Maybe you found this story entertaining. I did feel the need to explain myself.

Doll Soup
Loosing your voice sux. Also I swear I have blown my nose 200 times today and still keep soiling my tissues. I dunno where my brain has any room to hangout. Elise just tried to drown her dolls in my soup. Now im not big on cooking but even I know that dolls dont belong in soup. Looks like she will take after me. *sigh*

Depth of knowledge, eggs, and inside
Does anyone know what exactly "Depth of Knowledge" is? I have to know this for my class and I cant find a deffinition anywhere. I found a chart which has made me a little better than clueless but still not where I want to be.
This morning after I made Elise some eggs there was steam coming from them cause I had just gotten them off the stove and she kept saying "mommy, I catch it! mommy you catch it" and trying to catch the steam. It was so sweet and hilarious. But I had to tell her that babies and not even mommies can catch the steam and it was just going to have to get away. She also got jumped on by the neighbors dog today who while on his hind legs is as tall as she is. This experiance freaked her out and she cried and cried then told me "mommy, ets go inside" Which is the first time that has ever happened in the history of the world. My child LOVES outside and especially loves it when there are puppies to play with which there are. Poor baby. Anyways gotta go do some homework.

Last night my mother and I made the treck to Jackson to have my sister, Mysti work on our hair. My hair was almost to my waist and I ended up getting like 4 and a half inches cut off. I now feel naked. On the way there we passed through a town that had a sulfer like smell and Elise said "mommy pooey pooey poo poo" and kept breating in and out of her nose really quickly. lol both going and coming back. The other day Elise and I were out and about running errands and there was a little bitty baby that kept crying and Elise said "BABY! Thats enough!" Everybody within hearing thought it was hilarious. And so I am brain dead and that is all I can think of to say now. Maybe next time It will be more entertaining.
